Mechanically Accurate Slugcat 2




Since the last devlog I have been working on movement states so I can start that big ass rainworld movement matrix. The only thing different about my movement state manager over other games is I am calling it "movement behaviors matrix" instead as the script will be accessible to EVERY creature and not just the slugcat, or player. This way all creatures can receive their correct allowed behaviors, but also allow you to mess around with the console I'm working on, and allow the slugcat to have red spider spit or something fun lol.
I have also added back a first person camera, I decided that now would also be a good time to give the two freely rotating colliders a purpose, so now you can do those funny slugcat movements for when you get stuck somewhere, as well as create more immersive situations. More importantly, this allows for me to start working on unconsciousness.
A problem I am encountering is it can be a little dramatic sometimes, as the collider is trying to continually grind against a wall sometimes which gets in the way of trying to wall jump, so I will most likely give the top collider some form of minimal drag (maybe, the movement i have will cause the player to slide around so I gotta find a good workaround)
